Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Novadri LLC, a Washington limited liability company, governing your access to and use of Buddiy. Please read them before creating an account or using the service.
Agreement and eligibility
By affirmatively accepting these Terms, creating an account, purchasing a product, or using Buddiy, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of entering this agreement. If you use Buddiy for another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind them. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for activity under it.
Planning guidance only — no professional advice
Buddiy is an informational DIY design and planning tool. Novadri LLC is not acting as your architect, engineer, contractor, building inspector, building official, lawyer, surveyor, utility locator, or emergency service. Buddiy does not replace professional judgment, product instructions, permits, inspections, or approval by the authority having jurisdiction.
Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, unsuitable, or wrong because of software defects, third-party data, automated or AI-system limitations, assumptions, information you provide, or changing laws, codes, site conditions, and product specifications. No output is a guarantee of safety, structural adequacy, code compliance, permit approval, cost, availability, fitness for a purpose, or successful construction.
Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your project and for verifying every output before relying on it. This includes measurements, dimensions, spans, loads, connections, material grades and quantities, site and soil conditions, drainage, snow and wind, seismic conditions, utilities, easements, property boundaries, setbacks, product instructions, current building codes, permit requirements, and inspection requirements.
Use suitable protective equipment, tools, methods, and qualified help. Stop work when site conditions differ from the design or when you are uncertain. Confirm permit guidance with the applicable building department. Obtain a licensed professional whenever required by law or prudent for safety. You assume the risks of purchasing materials or constructing from Buddiy outputs.
Your inputs
You retain the rights you already have in text, measurements, photos, project information, and other content you submit. You grant Novadri LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, synchronize, display, and share that content only as needed to provide features you request, operate and secure Buddiy, comply with law, and improve service reliability. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit and share your content.
Buddiy materials, generated outputs, and your license
Buddiy and its software, branding, interfaces, templates, document layouts, compilations, explanatory text, and other service materials are owned by Novadri LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Public facts, building-code references, your pre-existing content, and ideas that the law does not protect are not claimed as exclusive property.
To the extent Novadri LLC has rights in designs, plans, build sheets, cut lists, parts lists, instructions, and other outputs generated by Buddiy, Novadri LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use those outputs for personal, non-commercial use with your physical DIY project and through Buddiy's built-in sharing features.
Use of generated designs, plans, build sheets, or related outputs for commercial purposes is prohibited unless Novadri LLC gives separate written permission. You may not redistribute, publish, sell, resell, sublicense, remove ownership or safety notices from, use for model or dataset training, systematically extract, or use the service or outputs to create a competing product. Novadri LLC may offer different paid tiers or a separate commercial license in the future; none is granted by these Terms.
Built-in sharing
When you use Buddiy's sharing features, invited users may view or import a copy as described in the app. Share only content you are entitled to share, and carefully select recipients and visibility. You remain responsible for content you make available. Novadri LLC may remove unlawful, infringing, dangerous, or abusive content and may restrict sharing to protect users or the service.
Free features, Build Packs, and Pro
Available features and prices are shown in the app before purchase. A Build Pack is a consumable product for one Buddiy account and one project lineage. It includes build sheets for the initial generated configuration and up to two revised configurations. Re-requesting the same canonical configuration does not use a revision. A Build Pack cannot be transferred to another project or account and is not restorable after account deletion.
Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks the Pro features then offered by Buddiy, subject to normal service, account, technical, and abuse limits. Pro is not a recurring subscription, but a one-time purchase is not a promise that Buddiy, cloud access, every feature, or support will remain available indefinitely. Novadri LLC may change, replace, suspend, or discontinue features or the service prospectively.
Complimentary and promotional access
Complimentary access may be limited by time, eligibility, quantity, territory, product availability, or campaign rules. Thirty-day complimentary Pro access expires after the stated period, does not automatically renew, and does not create a downstream charge. Novadri LLC may revoke complimentary access obtained through error, fraud, transfer, code sharing contrary to campaign rules, or other abuse. Generated snapshots that remain in your account may still be viewable after promotional access expires, but new generation may require a purchase.
Apple purchases, restoration, and refunds
Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's terms. Apple controls billing and its applicable refund process. Use Restore Purchases for restorable products. Consumable Build Packs and unused revisions are not restorable through Apple after they are consumed or after you delete the Buddiy account to which they were credited. If Apple refunds or reverses a purchase, Novadri LLC may revoke the corresponding entitlement or unused credit. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Acceptable use
Do not use Buddiy unlawfully or to harm others. Do not access another person's private data; evade payment, entitlement, project, or revision limits; probe or defeat security controls without written authorization; introduce malicious code; interfere with service operation; scrape or automate access beyond documented interfaces; impersonate others; infringe rights; or use names, usernames, or shared content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or abusive.
Third-party services and information
Buddiy may depend on Apple, Supabase, cloud hosts, government publications, product information, mapping or AI providers, and other third parties. Novadri LLC does not control their availability or accuracy. Links and citations are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Confirm important information at its authoritative source.
Third-party claims caused by your content or misuse
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Novadri LLC and its members and personnel from third-party claims, damages, judgments, and reasonable costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from content you submit or share that infringes another person’s rights; your commercial, unlawful, fraudulent, or intentionally abusive use of Buddiy or its outputs; or your material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Novadri LLC’s gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required. Novadri LLC will provide reasonable notice and may control the defense; it will not agree to a settlement that admits your fault or imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent.
No warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUDDIY AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TUNCALI LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, PERSONNEL, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OPPORTUNITY; COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES; OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO BUDDIY, ITS OUTPUTS, A PROJECT, OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF TUNCALI LLC FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TUNCALI LLC THROUGH BUDDIY DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR USD 100. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Suspension, termination, and discontinuation
You may stop using Buddiy at any time and may request account deletion in the app. Novadri LLC may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, harm, or service discontinuation. Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, licenses already needed for operation or legal compliance, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—survive termination. Downloaded files may remain on your device, but cloud content and unused consumable rights may be lost when you delete your account.
Changes to the service or these Terms
Novadri LLC may modify Buddiy and may change prices or paid offerings prospectively. Material changes to these Terms will use a new version and require affirmative acceptance before continued use. Changes do not retroactively convert a completed one-time purchase into a recurring charge. The effective date above identifies the current version.
Disputes and governing law
Before filing a claim, please send a written description to support@buddiy.app and allow 30 days for an informal resolution, unless prompt action is legally required. These Terms are governed by Washington law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to non-waivable consumer rights, claims will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and the parties consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about Buddiy and replace prior agreements on that subject. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest lawful extent and the remaining provisions continue. A waiver must be in writing and is not a continuing waiver. You may not assign this agreement without Novadri LLC's consent; Novadri LLC may assign it in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, sale, or transfer of the service or business.
